Isn’t Easter late this year? I’ve been keeping my eye on those smartie chocolate orange eggs every time I walk past them in Tesco. Resisted so far. I wanted to create an green inspired eggtastic Easter table which also nodded to spring too with a simple centrepiece.
What’s great is most of these items for this table can be found on the high street and you can easily create this glamorous Easter table. I went to John Lewis, H&M Home and Marks & Spencer for the beautiful blue eggs – so colourful.
What you’ll need
- 2 green leaf plates
- Dark green tablecloth
- White dinner plates
- White napkins
- Simple gold napkin rings
- Gold cuttlery
- Blue eggs
Lay the tablecloth, I always give it an iron on and off the table.
Fold the napkin in half on the diagonal and take each corner to the top. Then fold it in half with the flaps on the outside and take the napkin ring and place over the napkin.
Place the napkin on the plate and arrange the cutlery and glassware.
Take the leaf plates and use the large to place the tealights and eggs. Use the other leaf plate to place a mini daffodil centrepiece, I used a small glass to hold the daffodils.
