For me this year it’s all about making people smile this Christmas, so here is my bright gingerbread Christmas table. I wanted to create a table setting for Christmas Day where everyone would know where they are sitting. From kids to adults, everyone would be smiling, kids will be giggling and the turkey is nearly ready.
All of my table settings are really easy to recreate and with jobs, kids and whatever else we have on, we don’t have loads of time. It’s just taking a few things you might already have and pulling it together. I recently went to a wonderful Christmas wreath and garland making class, I learnt a lot and totally appreciate the time and effort florist do to making garlands. If you have time a brilliant green garland would look amazing with this table, just add some large candles in the middle.
What you’ll need
- Bright orange napkins
- White plates
- Gold cutlery
- White tablecloth
- Sprig of conifer
- Little gingerbread dude
- Brown gift tag
- Gold ribbon
- Little baubles
- Christmas tree confetti
- White pen
Set your table, place the plates and tree confetti on the plate.
Write the name on the gift tag.
Take the napkin and wrap the gold ribbon around it, thread the gift tag and baubles on. Then make a little bow.
Once you’ve made the bow, place the gingerbread dude and the spring of conifer under the ribbon. Tdah! Done. Enjoy.
